Branded Calling
Branded calling is a service that shows a verified business name, and sometimes a logo and call reason, on a person's phone when your company calls.
Plain caller ID shows a number and maybe a name from CNAM. Branded calling goes further. On supported devices and carriers, the screen can show your verified business name, logo, and a short reason for the call.
Providers include analytics companies and carriers. Hiya offers a Branded Call product with published pricing, starting at $99 per month for 750 calls or $0.14 per call as of October 2026. Apple now offers Business Caller ID through Apple Business, for US calls only. Google's earlier Verified Calls feature was shut down on January 31, 2023.
Most branded calling programs require business verification, ownership of the numbers, and good calling behavior. Coverage depends on the recipient's carrier and device, so not every call will show branding.
Branded calling helps people recognize a call they expected. It does not make unwanted calls welcome, and it is not a way around spam filters. If your calling practices create complaints, providers can remove you from the program.
Think of it as the last step after the basics: consent, clear identification, A attestation, a correct CNAM, and registration with the Free Caller Registry.
