Choose a voice for your agent

Each agent has one voice. You can hear a sample of any voice before you save it.

  1. Go to Agents and click Edit on the agent's card.
  2. Check the Engine. Most agents use OpenAI GPT-Live, which has a list of stock voices.
  3. Pick a voice from the Voice list.
  4. Click Hear it. A short sample plays through your speakers, using the agent's name and company as you typed them. Try a few voices this way.
  5. Set the Speaking style and the Tone: casual to urgent slider. Hear it uses these too.
  6. Click Save agent.

Hear it plays in your browser and doesn't place a phone call or use any of your calls. To hear the voice in a full conversation, click Talk to it after you save.

Cloned voices

The ElevenLabs engine only shows on plans that include cloned voices. With it, you paste an ElevenLabs voice ID instead of picking from the list.

To make your agent sound like you, use Copy your voice at the bottom of the agent's edit page. Once DialSwarm approves the recording, the agent switches to your voice by itself, whatever your plan. See "Copy your own voice."
