Agents
Create an agent
An agent is the AI voice that calls your leads. It never claims to be human and says it's an AI if someone asks, whatever your opening line says.
- Go to Agents and click New agent.
- Fill in Agent label (how it appears in your list) and The agent's name on the call (what it introduces itself as).
- Enter Company it's calling from and choose a Product to pitch. If you have no products yet, click Add a product first.
- Choose an Engine and a Voice, then a Speaking style. Move the Tone: casual to urgent slider: left is relaxed, right is brisk.
- Optional: write an Opening line. You can use {name}, {caller} and {company} and they get filled in on each call.
- Optional: fill in If they push back with how to handle objections, and Extra instructions with anything else it should know or avoid. Put your qualifying questions in Extra instructions. There is no separate questions field.
- Optional: tick Call as a salesperson's assistant, then add the Salesperson's name and pick an Opener style.
- Optional: add a Warm transfer number. When a prospect wants a person, the call is handed to that number. This is available on Basic and up.
- Optional: add a Voicemail message. If you leave it blank, the agent leaves a short default message.
- Click Save agent.
The Agents screen shows how many agents your plan allows. After you save, make a test call before you use the agent in a campaign. See "Make a test call."
