Billing
How billing works
DialSwarm has one meter: connected calls. A connected call is one where a person answered and the conversation lasted at least 10 seconds. Voicemails, call screeners, no answers and busy signals don't count.
What you pay for
- Free plan: a set number of free connected calls that don't expire, plus a cap on dial attempts. New accounts get 10, or more with a referral code.
- Paid plans: a monthly price that includes a number of connected calls each calendar month. The count starts over each month.
- Extra calls: past your included calls, each extra connected call is billed at your plan's rate. There is a monthly limit on extra calls. When you reach it, calling stops until you move up a plan or ask support to raise the limit.
- Add-ons: extra phone numbers are listed in the Add-on card on Billing.
Each plan card on the Billing screen shows its price, included calls and the rate for extra calls.
See your usage
- The Dashboard's usage bar shows connected calls used against what's included.
- The Billing screen shows your Current plan, the same meter, and how many calls you have left or how many you're over.
- On paid plans, a table lists each finished month with the Plan, Connected calls, any Overage and its Status.
Paying
Billing is handled by hand for now. See "Choose or change your plan."
Practice calls on the Voice Trainer and Talk to it in the browser don't use connected calls.
