Integrations

Create an API key

An API key lets Zapier, Make or your own scripts add leads to DialSwarm and get results back.

  1. Go to Integrations and scroll to API keys for Zapier, Make and your own scripts.
  2. In Key name, name it after where you'll use it, like Zapier.
  3. Tick the consent confirmation. It's stored with the key and covers every lead sent with it. Set your company name on Company & Products first, so the confirmation names your business.
  4. Click Create key.
  5. Copy the key right away. It's shown once, and the page refreshes after about 20 seconds.
  6. Store it somewhere safe, like a password manager.

Manage keys

The list shows each key's Name, the first few characters of the Key, and when it was Last used. To stop a key working, click Revoke and confirm. Anything using it stops working, and any webhooks set up with that key are removed.

Use a key

Send it in the Authorization header as Bearer followed by the key. Click API documentation on the Integrations screen for the full list of requests. See also "Set up webhooks" and "Speed to lead with Zapier or Make."

Treat API keys like passwords. Don't share them or put them in public code.
