Set up webhooks
Webhooks send DialSwarm events to a URL you choose. There is no webhooks screen in the portal: you subscribe with one API request, using an API key.
There are two events:
- call.completed: a call has finished.
- meeting.booked: a meeting was booked.
Subscribe
- Create an API key. See "Create an API key."
- From your automation tool or script, send a POST to https://dialswarm.com/api/v1/hooks with your key and a JSON body with target_url (your https address) and event.
- Save the id and secret that come back.
To stop, send a DELETE to /api/v1/hooks/ followed by the id. Revoking the key also removes its webhooks.
What you receive
Each delivery is a POST with event, id, created_at and data. For a finished call, data includes the outcome, summary, lead, talk time, agent and a transcript link.
Each delivery is signed. The X-DialSwarm-Signature header holds an HMAC SHA-256 of the raw body made with your secret. Check it before you trust the data.
Reply with any 2xx status. If your URL fails, DialSwarm tries again after 1 minute, 10 minutes and 1 hour.
Testing
There is no send test button. To see the shape of the data, send a GET to /api/v1/calls/recent with your key. It returns your latest finished calls in the same format. Then make a test call and watch for the delivery.
The API documentation link on the Integrations screen has the details.
