Voice and recording consent
This page explains what people hear on a DialSwarm call and what customers are responsible for. It is not legal advice.
The agent never claims to be human
Even when it speaks in a copied voice, a DialSwarm agent never claims to be human. If anyone asks whether it is an AI, it says plainly that it is, and offers to connect them with the real person it works for. Customers cannot switch this off, and instructions that try to make the agent deny being an AI are removed.
Calls only to people who agreed
Customers confirm, for every list they upload or send, that each person gave prior express written consent to be called by that customer using an automated or AI voice, and they record where and when. If a person says to stop calling, the agent ends the call and the number goes on that customer's Do Not Call list at once. See the Compliance page.
Copies of your own voice
A voice copy can only be made from the voice of the person recording it. In the portal you read a short script that ends with a spoken consent line in your own full name ("I, [your name], agree that DialSwarm can make a copy of my voice to place calls for my business."). A person at DialSwarm listens to every recording before a voice is made, and we refuse anything that doesn't match. We do not copy public figures or anyone who hasn't consented. Voice copies are produced by our voice provider (ElevenLabs) and are used only for your own calls on DialSwarm. You can ask us to delete a voice copy at any time.
