Turn off missed-call forwarding
You can stop sending missed calls to Reception at any time. You do it from your cell, not in the portal.
- Go to Reception and scroll to Send missed calls from your cell to her.
- In Your carrier, pick your carrier. The code to turn forwarding off shows on the card.
- On your cell, dial the code like a phone number and press call:
- Verizon:
*73- AT&T or T-Mobile:##61# - Wait a few seconds for the confirmation.
- Test it: have someone call your cell and let it ring. It should go to your own voicemail.
If you used the busy or phone-off codes
On AT&T and T-Mobile, ##61# turns off missed-call forwarding only. The portal doesn't show codes to turn off the busy (**67) or phone-off (**62) forwarding. If you set those up, ask your carrier how to turn them off.
Turning off Reception too
Unticking Reception is on for this number doesn't stop your carrier from forwarding calls. If you switch Reception off while forwarding is still on, callers hear that the line isn't set up yet. Turn forwarding off on your phone first, then switch Reception off.
Another carrier
If you picked Another carrier, use the same carrier steps you followed to set it up, or ask your carrier to turn off conditional call forwarding.
