Forward missed calls to Reception (Verizon)

On Verizon, you can send calls you don't answer on your cell to Reception instead of voicemail. Your phone still rings first.

1. Go to Reception. Pick the Number she answers and click Save.
2. Scroll to Send missed calls from your cell to her.
3. In Your carrier, pick Verizon.
4. The code to turn it on shows: *71 followed by your 10 digit Reception number. Click Copy next to it.
5. On your cell, dial the code like a phone number and press call.
6. Wait a few seconds for the confirmation.
7. Test it: have someone call your cell and let it ring, or decline the call.

Calls you miss or decline now go to her, and the message shows up on the Reception screen.

The codes only show after you've picked the number she answers and saved. Reception has to be on for that number, or forwarded callers hear that the line isn't set up yet.

Turn it off

The same card shows *73. Dial it from your cell to stop forwarding. See "Turn off missed-call forwarding."

Codes can differ by plan and device. If the code doesn't work, check with Verizon.
