Choose a call schedule

A call schedule sets how long DialSwarm waits before calling a lead again after a try nobody picks up.

  1. Go to Campaigns and open your campaign.
  2. Open the Call schedule list and pick one: - Same gap every time: set Max attempts and Retry after (minutes) yourself. - Fast: 4 hours, 1 day, 3 days: four calls in all. - Steady: 1 day, 3 days, 1 week: four calls in all. - Persistent: 6 tries over 2 weeks: waits of 2 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 4 days and 7 days. - Custom schedule: type your own waits. See "Build a custom call schedule."
  3. Click Save campaign.

When you pick a preset, the Waits between tries box shows its waits so you can see exactly what it does.

What counts as a try

A try counts when nobody picks up or the call goes to voicemail. Once a lead answers and the call ends with a clear result, such as interested, not interested or a callback, it isn't retried. Retries still only happen inside the campaign's calling window.

Unanswered tries and voicemails aren't connected calls, so they don't count toward your billing.

Pair the schedule with a voicemail rule so you don't leave a message on every try. See "Set a voicemail rule."
